New Chat Leads To Streaming On The iPad
I recently received an email from Ning, the creators of the platform that I use for my gspn.tv online community and that I will be using for my new Podcast Mastermind Group.

In the email, they announced that they had completely rewritten their chat system so that it is now based upon Java and HTML5. Basically, this means that the chat functionality will now work on iOS and other mobile devices.

This news prompted me to move my Live Streaming Page over to my online community site. While doing some testing, I noticed that Ustream was prompting me to try out their new web based broadcaster. I decided to give it try and you can find out what happened by watching this video.

Podcast Answer Man – Focused on Podcasting & New Media

Another name for a safety helmet that is used to protect the wearer’s head from injury due to falling objects or obstacles is a hardhat. They are worn in places like mines, construction sites and by road maintenance crews. The first civilian hard hat is rumored to have been designed by Franz Kafka (1883-1924), the German author. He worked for the Worker’s Accident Insurance Institute. The first safety helmet to be patented was constructed from glue and steamed canvas. It was painted black.

Emergence Of Hard Hats

It was not long after the introduction of the safety helmet that they became compulsory on construction sites. The first site was the Hoover Dam project in 1931 and the second was the construction of the Golden Gate Bridge on the western seaboard of the United States. Now the safety clothing and equipment are mandatory on all building sites by workers and visitors alike.

Leather Helmets

Early safety helmets were constructed of leather. These were designed by ED Bullard around 1898, prior to his development of the canvas helmet. In the late 1930s, aluminum was the standard, except for electrical work. In the 1940s, fiberglass was the fashion. By the 1950s, thermoplastics were used because they could easily and cheaply be molded using heat. Today, most safety helmets are made of high-density polyethylene (HDPE) or engineering resins such as polyetherimide (PEI).

Science

Safety helmets usually have an inner suspension system designed to both distribute the weight of the hat equally over the head and to cushion the head from impact by adding at least an inch or more of hair over the top of the head underneath the upper surface. Some helmets incorporate a rim to channel rainwater towards the front and down the peak of the cap rather than dripping down the back of the user’s neck.

Variety

There are so many different styles and colors that they are practically a fashion accessory. The smooth dome slotted cap is designed for comfort and protection from small falling objects. Its dielectric properties make it suitable for electrical work.

Options

The V-guard design provides extra toughness at the top of the head. This model also comes in a choice of suspension systems as well as a number of different colors. Women’s and children’s sizes are available, although there is a more limited choice of color. Some models have a peak at the front while others have a rim that runs around the entire circumference of the hat. Some versions glow in the dark for nighttime use. Even cowboys are catered for,with a Stetson-shaped hat for wranglers who are serious about safety but who have an image to protect.

Additional Safety

Safety helmets may be fitted with safety visors for use when welding or to protect the worker’s eyes from sunlight. Face shields may also be added to protect the user’s face from impact. Earmuffs may also be attached for use where it is very noisy. They may also be fitted with communication devices such as radios, pagers or even cameras.

When choosing the agency to do this for you, ensure the agency is ethical and professional. Even, though the agency will hurry up the process of renewal, you need to be cautious with companies that are out to earn a quick buck. Choose an agency that will deal with your urgency.

Process

You should pay the necessary amount as fixed by the embassy. This will make the process swifter. Ensure that the agency helps you get your passport at affordable and reasonable rates and is not out to swindle you. If you decide to use mail services, you should be ready to foot the transport costs.
